On a classics tour of my beautiful city! Never even knew this statue was even here! Its the depiction of the English conquering South Africa and the female is Britannia who is depicted as Athena a Greek Goddess. very beautiful sculpture and the winged victory is at the top. very very beautiful piece of art work :)
